Saturday's
teaching started at 2 PM and was over at about 5:30 PM. The
believers were very excited about applying
the principles
of commanding with authority to those in attendance who had infirmities.
I began by ministering to a lady with a shoulder problem---she
wasn't able to lift her arm very high without much pain. She
was healed. Others came forward for healing and among those were
people with knee problems, back problems, painful eyes plus many
others. The Lord was gracious to heal most of them on the first
time of commanding the infirmities to go in Jesus’ name.

After the meeting, Pastor Albert and Doris Kok took us to
pray for her mother who was suffering from kidney problems
as well
as severe pain in both knees rendering her unable to walk---she
had to use her hands even to move her left leg off the
bed. We gathered around her and commanded healing in Jesus’ name,
then I reached out my hands to her and she slowly got out
of bed and held on to me and managed to lift the left leg
enough
to take a few steps before returning to bed. Sunday afternoon
as we were traveling to Mentakap about an hour and a half
away, Pastor Albert received a call from Doris that her mother
was
MUCH improved and that all the pain in the left knee was
gone and that she was able to move it without lifting it
with her
hand.
The morning service was small; however, that did not stop
the Lord from being present. I preached about the woman with
the
issue of blood, about blind Bartimaeus, and about the man
with leprosy. I spoke of how each one was desperate for healing
but that they all knew if they could only get to Jesus they
would be healed. Several people came forward and received
their
healing. Afterwards, I gave the altar call and one man (the
only one there who was not a believer) came forward and gave
his life to the Lord. His knees were healed in the service. He
is in the photo below.

new Chinese believer, Evelyn
After
lunch, we drove to Mentakap to minister at an outreach church
(all Chinese). The drive was beautiful. My teammate
Evelyn Lupardus preached regarding people being caught
in a net of sin and
needing a
savior. She then called people up for healing and we spent
a good deal of time (along with the trained believers)
ministering to the infirm. Again, knees, shoulders, etc.
were healed.
I called the service back to order and gave the altar call
and
8 precious souls came forward. At this point, I handed
the service back to the pastor so he could lead them in the “sinner’s
prayer” in Chinese. The picture below shows some of the new
believers.

Hosanna Praise Assembly, Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia
July 7–9, 2006
The Friday night and Saturday morning teaching went well. The
people were very receptive and asked questions. At the ministry
time, they commanded healing and several were healed of knee
problems (these appear to be prevalent in Kuala Lumpur), an elbow
problem, back pain, and others.
The Saturday night Healing Rally was attended by about 60-70
people which was less than expected. I think that was partly
due to the World Cup games going on Saturday. However, a man
with a major back problem was healed, more knees healed, sinus'
healed as well as others. I preached on "Who is Jesus Christ" and
it went well. The people were responsive. Then we had the ministry
time and ended with the alter call. A precious 80-year-old lady
came forward to receive the Lord---that was very exciting. See
the photo below.

Elderly woman accepting Christ
On
Sunday morning I preached at an outreach church and used a
sermon the Lord gave me Sunday morning before leaving
for Kuala
Lumpur. The topic was people in desperate situations. I used
the examples of the lady with the issue of blood, blind Bartimaeus,
and the man with leprosy---how in their desperation they
knew their only hope was Jesus and how they reached out to him
and
were healed. I tied it in with how we can in our desperate
times reach out to Jesus,
whether it is for healing or other life situations. It was
well received. I called forward those who needed healing
and six responded.
The most dramatic one was a man in his late 30's. Something
had fallen on the right side of his upper chest area and
it was very
painful, especially when breathing deeply. Two men ministered
to him and He was completely healed. Two women were healed
of knee problems. When I gave the altar call, the man who
was healed
of the chest pain came forward to receive the Lord. What
is significant is that he is from Pakistan. I was so thrilled
to bring this
dear brother to the Lord. A lady from the church translated
as I led him to receive the Lord in prayer. See the photo
below.

On
Sunday night I preached at another outreach church and spoke
about Jesus speaking to the woman at the well. I
talked about
how she encountered the Lord, how she went and told everyone
about the Messiah and many believed in the Lord because of
her testimony. A precious man (probably in his 40's) came
forward
for salvation.
His wife had become a Christian about 2 months
ago and she was thrilled.
Evelyn and I know of 12 salvations that we witnessed and participated
in. Praise the Lord. I believe Senior Pastor Bernard Ong was
pleased with the services and the teaching.
