The next day, everyone that we prayed for at the healing service (by the prayer of commanding the spirits of infirmity to leave as Jesus and the disciples did it and as taught by you) was healed. Report on Pastor Charles' meetings in Alabama at
the Redeemed Christian Church of God"The LORD is great and greatly to be praised! Alabama was a huge victory for the Kingdom of GOD. The initial resistance was great, but your prayers and the prayers of all the intercessors were registered in heaven; and our Father dispatched mighty angels to war on behalf of His word and the ministry.
The first night, we had a major problem that we could not resolve with the computer equipment. I had prepared to minister from my lap top with the slides but for some reason we could not get them working sequentially and I had to stop the use of the slides. (After the meeting the computer operated properly.) However, the LORD brought everything that I needed to my memory for teaching the saints. His tangible presence was felt. A woman testified that she was healed while the teaching was going on.
The Friday night healing service was successful, however, the only sick people in the meeting were believers. They did not invite unbelievers to the meeting. I presented the Elijah Challenge material using every scripture I could about how to use healing to win the lost and also how to heal the sick and not combine praying and commanding. I spent time with them on Mountain Moving Faith. At the end of the teaching I asked for the believers who were sick to come forward and I informed them that I was not going to personally lay hands or pray for any of the sick believers. The other believers who had been listening were then asked by me to lay hands on the sick believers and command the sicknesses to go in Jesus' Name.
The result was instant healing testimonies - a lady who had a condition a painful stomach ulcer was instantly healed and the pain left. A lady who had not been able to move her joints was instantly healed. A lady with back pain too. Practically every one that was prayed for was healed. As a result of that, they invited unbelievers to the service on Sunday.
One of the most exciting testimonies was a man who they knew in that church that he had been having difficulty sleeping and the doctors could not detect what was wrong. A believer laid hands on him and prayed and I told them that the only way we can know if the healing occured would be after he had slept.
The church was full on Sunday with a lot of unbelievers and the man who was having sleeping difficulties testified that he had slept soundly from Friday evening and also Saturday night.
On Sunday we had a mass healing service and when I asked people to surrender their lives to Christ - the number of people that came forward caught me by surprise. I then clarified the call and told them that I was asking only those who were giving their lives for the first time (not rededication) - the people at the altar remained and one more person came forward. It was reported that that was the highest number of first time salvation that they had witnessed in any meeting in the church.
The LORD, I believe, was validating the principle that JESUS HEALS SICKNESSES AND DISEASES AND THEREFORE HE SAVES US FROM SIN.
The congregation asked the Pastor to ask me to come back for more training. They have scheduled two meetings - one in first week of May and another in last week of July this year."
