Teammate Joshua Chen is an engineer who serves at Houston Chinese Church, the largest Chinese evangelical church in Houston. Just a few days earlier, before the Campaign began, he attended our Healing Encounter where workers were trained how to minister healing to the sick as confirmation of the gospel. At our medical clinic after the Campaign began, he prayed over a woman who had been totally blind in her left eye for five years. The Lord restored her sight in the blind eye. At the Tent Meeting the next day, she gave her testimony to the delight of the large crowd. Never before had such a thing happened. Corroborating her testimony was a neighbor, a Campus Crusade worker named Mirvet, who confirmed that she had indeed been blind in that eye. In a separate interview videotaped a few days after the miracle, she said that she was now able to see clearly through her left eye. She had gone to her eye doctor. After examining the blind eye he discovered that it was perfectly fine and functioning because apparently someone very |

skilled had performed an operation on the eye. When he asked her who had done it, she told him that it was God! (When the doctor examined her other eye that was supposed to be good, he wrote her a prescription to buy some eye drops for it.) |

Basma, a twenty-something-year-old committed believer in Christ Jesus, had been stricken by crippling polio as a very young child. She could walk only with the help of a heavy brace attached to her leg and bulky shoes specially fitted for her disfigured feet, in addition to a cane. For some reason, she believed that healing her was the one miracle that the Lord could not do. Outside the Prayer Room after one of our morning Tent Crusade meetings, team members Billy Burton, Jennifer Campbell, Brenda Powell, and Deborah Wallace laid hands on her, rebuking the polio in the name of Jesus Christ. Before their very eyes the power of the Lord began to straighten her twisted foot. She removed the heavy leg brace and special shoes and walked without them for the first time in many years. Brenda, who had purchased a new pair of sneakers before leaving on the trip at the leading of the Holy Spirit, gave Basma her new shoes to wear. They fit her exactly! The next day, walking in her new regular shoes aided by her cane only, Basma came to the Tent Meeting to testify with great joy and excitement before the thousands of amazed Egyptians. She's trusting the Lord for her complete healing. God is great! For more details, see Basma. |

Deaf
and Hearing-Impaired Ears Opened in Jesus' Name!

Several instances of deaf and hearing-impaired people were witnessed. They came forward and testified, sometimes removing their hearing-aids for everyone to see if they had been wearing them. Some were healed in the Tent through the ministry of mass healing, while others were healed in the Prayer Room through individual ministry. The Lord used a 17-year-old Egyptian girl named Haidy to open the ears of a deaf woman. The young woman at right was healed of deafness in a Tent Meeting. |

A gentleman was prayed over for painful stones which had formed in his kidney. The next day he came forward at the Tent Meeting bringing in a napkin two stones which had come out in the night in the name of Jesus! An Egyptian physician present at the meeting examined the stones. |

Man Deaf from Youth Hears Clearly Mark 2:1 And again He entered Capernaum after some days, and it was heard that He was in the house. 2 Immediately many gathered together, so that there was no longer room to receive them, not even near the door. And He preached the word to them. 3 Then they came to Him, bringing a paralytic who was carried by four men. 4 And when they could not come near Him because of the crowd, they uncovered the roof where He was. So when they had broken through, they let down the bed on which the paralytic was lying. |
