The
teaching
was good
and
most leaders
were
there most
of
the time. However,
very
few were sick
and they weren't
inviting
many
so
there were more
healings
from a distance
than
in
the actual training.
We
had
a young
woman
with severe
side
pain for
years
and God
healed
her
first.
We
had
2 babies
with
malaria and
the
women
commanded
and
they were
healed
and eating
that
day.
We
had
a malaria
patient
at home
and
he was well
when
the person
got
home after
the
meeting.
We
had
headaches
gone
and leg
pain
gone.
After
the
teaching
we
had
3
evenings
of
Crusades
planned.
The
first
night
we
had
a
big
crowd
of
trainees,
a
lot of
kids
and
about
10
visitors.
God
healed
all
3
infirm
people
that
time
when
I
prayed
the
mass
healing
prayer
at
the
beginning.
The
trainees
didn't
even
get
to
minister.
One
lady
was
healed
of
head
pain
after
4
days
and
leg
problems
that
didn't
let
allow
her
to
walk
properly.
Another
lady
had
stomach
pains
-
gone,
and
a
man
had
side
pains
that
prevented
him
from
bending
over
-
healed
in
Jesus
name.
The
second night I had the trainees get there early and
go into the surrounding areas to find the sick and
bring them. An elder came and said he found a woman
too sick to come but he told her to find someone
to bring her. When asked if he ministered to her
he said “no.” I said go right now with
someone and minister to her, saying, "What have
we been learning to do??" He said, “Now?” I
said, “go NOW.” He left reluctantly but
came back 15 minutes later and said the woman was
better and coming to the meeting. Praise the Lord.
She came and was healed more and testified what God
had done. He left again and came back later to tell
me he had gone to another woman’s house and
she had not walked for 3-4 years. The lady crawled
with her arms and elbows to get around. After he
issued commands in Jesus’ name, she was standing
and shuffling and her son came to testify for her.
Also that night about 9 others were healed of other
infirmities. Another old lady had chest pains, etc.,
and could not hear anything from behind her. After
the ladies ministered to her she had no pains and
could hear and answer questions asked from behind
her by another person. She gave her heart to Jesus
later! A young girl had a bleeding nose for 3 months
but after ministry the bleeding stopped immediately.
Others were healed of leg pains and back pains. One
person accepted Christ.
The
3rd night it rained and stopped the meeting. During
the day on Friday and Saturday
I ended up teaching
the church leaders Biblical truths which they had me
teach again on Sunday. I think some were more excited
about that then about the healings. To be honest the
planning was not that good as Ben was out for 2 weeks
before we came. He was at a church in Uganda; then
she came to one of Ben’s other churches for a
meetings but no one was really organizing in Homa Bay.
The most visitors we had at a Crusade meeting was about
twenty the second night and with the threat of rain
on the third night we had about 4 trainees and kids
but no adults come. When the rain started, it was over.
But the great news is some of the leaders did use their
authority and saw God use them for the kingdom! They
were pumped up when we left.
Here is the news of the Livingstone Conference we
had before leaving for Kenya.
We saw God heal all but 1 who was prayed for. The
first night we prayed for 2 people who stayed home---one
had malaria and the other had body pains. Both were
reported healed the next day. On the 2nd night we prayed
for an old lady with bad eyes and swollen legs and
God touched both areas. The last night we had 2 and
one man was healed of a 5-day headache and of severe
chest pains. Another old lady was prayed over for leg
pain and speech problems. Her legs were healed and
her speech improved much but not totally. She was demonized
and when asked if she wanted Jesus she said she had
no sin (she attends a cultic church). The pastor will
continue to visit her family.
