Asthma & broken bones

March - April 2010

"We have arrived safely in Arkansas and have some good news. The day after we got here (Monday), our friend’s baby had an asthma attack. She brought him home before taking him to the Emergency Room at the hospital. In obedience to the Lord we laid hands on him and his breathing returned to normal. The baby is supposed to have breathing treatments a few times a day. But he has only had one treatment since then.

Then the Lord gave us another opportunity---our friend herself could not hear anything on Tuesday. Again in obedience to the Lord, Sherman inserted his fingers into her ears and commanded her ears to be opened. She was then able to hear normally.

Our friend’s oldest child also broke her wrist and we commanded the pain to leave. The doctors were again amazed that no pain medication was necessary for her. We laid hands on a teenager who had broken the knuckles on her hand last night. The pain instantly left, and she gave her life to the Lord. The pastor of the church wants to talk to us now. Let God's will be done! It is all so exciting to be free to do His will and be obedient to His commands.

We trust the Lord and are excited about this fantastic journey from the Lord. Our friend will be starting the Training soon. We cannot deny that the hand of the Lord is at work."

"God is opening so many doors to minister healing to the people here at the church we have found. We had a chance to lay hands on the pastor for an eye astigmatism here at the church we are attending.

God is so good, that He is putting us in place for His work to be done. We are now a part of healing and deliverance for newly saved people for them to be ready to be baptized. Once they are saved, they get turned over to us for healing and deliverance. We then prepare them for baptism and then we are going to set them up with training to heal others as well. It is going to be so great to see God's hand in preparing His people for the Great Commission. So as you can see, we are about to get really busy. Just in the last two weeks alone, we saw 55 youth get saved on just Wednesday nights alone. Since we showed up over here, they have baptized people every Sunday so far.

All this is not including the people who have received their healing by our obedience in laying our hands on them. Well, I just wanted to give you an update on our story so far. God has been so good to us since we listened to Him and came here. We only hope that others will do as Jesus commanded in Matthew 16:24.

Then Jesus told his disciples, "If anyone would come after me, let him deny himself and take up his cross and follow me."
