"I
have a godmother with whom I have been in contact for about a year
now. She found me on Facebook and we have been talking a lot. She
and her husband are saved. They knew that Sherman and I had been
trained in The Elijah Challenge and had looked it up on the internet
and watched the videos, but she was just not “in depth” like
she wanted to be. Her dad had been ill and was in the hospital.
Just recently she found him on the floor, but he had not fallen
or had a stroke or heart attack; he was just curled up in the fetal
position. I had been talking to her and checking up on him over
the past few weeks, but his status hadn't changed.
I had been thinking and praying and talking to God about what could
I do. One night I texted her and asked her how her dad was doing.
She was at the hospital with him and he wasn't doing well at all;
she was waiting for him to pass away. So I texted her back and
told her to remember what I taught her about the laying on of hands.
I gave her a "crash course" on what to do and told her
that if she wanted she could call me and we could do it together
while he was in the hospital. But I never received a text message
back from her...
Then I texted her this past Saturday night to see how her dad was
doing and GUESS WHAT!
She called and told me something wonderful had happened. That night
she couldn't call me back because the use of cell phones was restricted
in the hospital. But she told me that her dad had been “seeing” and “talking” to
people who had already passed on. He was talking nonsense and saying
things that were not normal and against his nature. He was also
on a lot of medication for different problems for which he had
been diagnosed. He was not eating and did not want to drink anything.
Then she told me that night while she prayed, she told God that
whatever His will was she accepted it. She accepted His plan for
her and for her dad. They had done everything including praying
for him to recover. But laying hands on him and using the authority
we have in Jesus was the only thing they hadn't done. She told
me that something then fired up inside her and she said “enough
is enough,” She laid hands on her dad and remembered what
she had learned and what I had told her. She commanded all illness
to leave his body in Jesus’ name. She commanded sickness
and confusion to leave in the name of Jesus. Then not 20 minutes
later he sat up and started talking normally, having conversations
with her and the doctors and nurses. He is now off of medication.
He has been cleared of all medical problems and is at home doing
very, very well!"
