358 Hindus accept Jesus Christ; new church planted in poverty-stricken unreached village

The state of Haryana is in North India

Reported by Joshua Gowda, TEC Training Centre Director in New Delhi

"The month of October Elijah Challenge Feeding Event was conducted at the village of Garibkhana in Haryana State on the 9th of October 2010. Approximately 380 Hindus came to attend our Feeding Event. In the whole village we see written on the walls of every house "B. P. L. family," meaning, "Below Poverty Level." These villagers are having a very hard time earning their daily bread. But praise God 358 people gave their hearts to the Lord Jesus Christ. A new Elijah Challenge Church was planted."

"B. P. L." scrawled on every home: "Below Poverty Level"
