This special event is called "Basic Training for the Special Forces of the Kingdom of God". This training is provided through The Elijah Challenge and will be taught by Sister Lucille. Based strictly on the Scriptures, you will learn how to heal the sick as Jesus taught and commanded His disciples (Luke 9:1-2; 10:9).
You will not be taught the "gift of healing" which is not given to all believers, but rather the very different "authority to heal" which Christ has given to every believer in order to be an effective witness. This "authority to heal" operates very differently from the "gift of healing" and requires the understanding and use of mountain-moving faith to heal the sick and cast out demons effectively as the gospel is preached to the lost.
While the Elijah Challenge Ministry has held historic evangelistic Crusades in Vietnam and Egypt, their primary ministry of using the Scripture to equip the body of Christ has taken them to six different continents of the world to raise up disciples who are now proclaiming the gospel in the spirit and power of Elijah with accompanying miraculous healings to confirm the message.
One example of the powerful effect that this training has produced started with an Elijah Challenge Basic Training in India. Since 2007, well over 11,000 people (mostly Hindus) have accepted Jesus Christ and 43 churches have been planted in predominantly unreached villages. These results have been accomplished by trained belivers through Elijah Challenge Feeding Events where the gospel is preached, the sick are healed and the people are fed.
