All
these miracles proved that Jesus had authority to forgive sin:
Mark
2:10 But that you may know that the Son of Man has authority
on earth to forgive sins....” He said to the paralytic,
11 “I
tell you, get up, take your mat and go home.” 12 He got up,
took his mat and walked out in full view of them all. This amazed
everyone and they praised God, saying, “We have never seen
anything like this!”
They also proved that He is the only way to the Father:
John
14:6 Jesus answered, “I am the way
and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except
through me.
...11 Believe me when I say that I am in the Father and the Father
is in me; or at least believe on the evidence of the miracles themselves.
After the preaching and the demonstrations of power, the people
repented of sin and committed themselves to obeying our Lord Jesus
as His disciples.
The
saints are excited and encouraged and plan to take the gospel
and the demonstration of power outside the "box" of
the church to the shopping mall where the lost congregate.

Testimonies following the Event
"A
couple, Mr. & Mrs. Hanh Bui, had suffered from demons and
had come
from Pomona to join your training. After finishing your program
he called me on Monday
to testify about a "sound like big fire in his heart." He
said, "Brother! I am very happy at the time [we spent] in San
Diego. Before I came, I had planned to ask Rev. William or
someone else to minister healing for us, but I changed my mind
since I was able to minister healing to many others. From now on
I will quickly pass on to all
people in my church what I learned from Rev. William. I really
need to see all of us successful for our heavenly Father."
Tomorrow
on Saturday there is a Fair in Linda Vista. We will
be there with a table and a banner with the words 'Free
Healing Prayer' to apply quickly what we learned from you!"

Report from The Good News, Summer 2009 - A publication
of the Chinese Community Church in San Diego
"To the background words and music of How Great is
Our God,
several dozen people received healing and relief from infirmities
during the April 17-19 Elijah Challenge Basic Training and
Evangelistic services. The services were headed by Pastor William
and his wife Lucille. [Several Chinese Community Church members
were in attendance.] The services were held at the Resurrection
Episcopal and Linda Visa Vietnamese Baptist
churches
with several
hundred
in attendance.
The
ultimate goal of healing services is to point non-believers
to the true God. "Heal
the sick who are there, and tell them 'the kingdom of God is
near you.'" Luke 10:9 In
this way, many come to believe for themselves and through the
testimonies of
those who are healed.
Attendees were taught how Jesus healed the sick and cast out
demons from Luke 4:31-41. We discovered that Jesus did not pray
for the sick, but rather He healed the sick using the authority
which the Father had given Him. Jesus did not pray to the Father
[to minister to the sick], but instead issued authoritative commands
to the infirm, to infirmities and to demons. As believers, we
are given a measure of authority to cast out demons.
After the teaching, Pastor William demonstrated the approach
that Jesus utilized to heal the sick. he asked for people with
infirmities to come forward. Trained believers were asked to
come to lay hands on these people and to minister healing to
them after the model of Jesus. When everyone was in place, Pastor
William led the believers in issuing authoritative commands to
the infirmities to leave and for the people to be healed in the
name of Jesus Christ. Afterwards Pastor William asked who had
been healed. Several testified that they were completely healed
or had improvement and they demonstrated it with a few robust
swings of their arms into the air whereas before, they could
not raise their arms. Caution was made that healing may require
time and repetition.
Pastor William is based in Houston, Texas. He travels extensively
in Asia and has aided countless individuals and churches."
