An introductory session of The Elijah Challenge Basic Training was held at Sidang Injil Borneo, roughly translated as Gospel Assembly of Borneo in the Malay language. SIB is an indigenous, mostly Malay-speaking denomination which began in and spread from Malaysian Borneo (East Malaysia). The Kuala Lumpur congregation, led by Pastor Chew and his wife, both physicians, is especially fast-growing and vibrant. The Lord’s anointing to teach was present at the session. At the end, among other miraculous healings reported, a lump disappeared when two sisters laid hands on it in Jesus' name. May a relationship between TEC and SIB be forged for the fulfillment of the Great Commission to the indigenous peoples of Malaysia.
