Last week I went to Raipur in Chatisgarh state. It was the first time I had a very good opportunity to minister to Buddhist families.
There are hundreds of Buddhist families in the town of Raipur, they are actually from the state of Maharashtra. We had a prayer meeting in one brother’s house and a few families were there. Five Buddhist families also came to attend the prayer and they were suffering from many diseases.
There was a seventeen-year-old girl who suffered from fits and every night making a big problem. There was also a young man addicted to drugs who came with his mother; she was very much disappointed in her son. She believed that Jesus could rescue her son. A lady also came to the prayer meeting for her husband back in Maharastra who was suffering from blood loss.
I preached the Gospel to them and ministered to them. There was a good time of fellowship. The Lord touched many of them in the meeting and they experienced the healing touch of God. A few stood and testified of their healing and also confessed Jesus Christ as the Lord who can heal and change their situation. After the prayer meeting, they invited me to go to their home for prayer.
Praise the Lord for this privilege to reach out with the gospel to Buddhist people. I believe that in the days ahead I will arrange Feeding Events and reach out to many Buddhist families. They have requested that I come to Raipur once a month. I believe God is opening the door in Raipur. From Raipur Jesus will be preached in the neighboring state of Maharashtra.
