In front of our orphanage there is a private hostel for college students. Two of the students who were Hindus heard our singing and attended our prayer meeting last month. They heard the gospel, and after a few Sundays they accepted Jesus Christ as their personal Saviour.
During the Christmas holidays they went home to their native villages and shared their faith with their families. It was very surprising to hear that both families would not listen to them, and even warned them not attend our fellowship any longer. If they did not listen, the families would stop paying for their college education.
Today they came to our fellowship, sharing how their families had so harshly warned them about their faith in Jesus Christ. I was amazed to hear their testimony. Both of the boys shared that for the last fifteen days they had not heard from their families. If their families do not support them, they have decided to support themselves by looking for work to continue their studies. But they will not deny their Lord Jesus Christ: ‘We have accepted the Lord Jesus Christ, and at whatever cost we will not deny Him.’
Praise the Lord! Please pray for them.”
