Sent by Mary Downing who hosted The Elijah Challenge Basic Training
in New Jersey in July 2010. The Training
includes among other things raising the dead according to
the account of Peter raising
Dorcas
in Acts 9.
"On
August 2, 2010 Genevieze Smith, one of the ladies who attended
the Elijah Challenge Basic Training
in Atlantic
City, New Jersey last July, was at a church service in Vineland,
New Jersey. Pastor Burke (a lady pastor) had given a great message on
the resurrection of Lazarus and the Lord moved in the church.
Near the end of the service her son came up to sing.
His mother the pastor collapsed in his arms and became sick.
She was very cold, her eyes were set and she had no pulse and
so
forth.
Genevieze
heard the Lord tell her to go up and speak life to Pastor Burke.
Others stood around in shock, knowing that she was
not responding. After Genevieze spoke to her in Jesus' name,
she came back to life. Everyone there gave God the glory
and
praise
for bringing
their pastor back to life.
The paramedics came and checked Pastor Burke. They asked her to
go to the hospital but she refused, saying that she knew God had
brought her back and would continue to keep and heal her body.
We are so blessed to have received the Elijah Challenge
Training here in Atlantic City. Everyone is taking it to the streets
and people
are being healed and delivered. I am so grateful to God for all He
is doing."
