The Elijah Challenge in India

Our January Feeding Event was in Punjab, Amritsar in a village called Vallah. Amritsar is the holy place for the Sikh community. As we know, Feeding Events are the mode of evangelism that opens a door for any community and provides an opportunity for the gospel to be preached. The people in this village had never heard the gospel. It was a great joy for us to preach Jesus to first time hearers of the gospel.

Approximately 400 people attended our event. There was you-could-hear-a-pin-drop silence as the gospel was preached. At the altar call about 325 people prayed the salvation prayer.  Even as the salvation prayer was being prayed unclean spirits came out of people, and many were healed of their infirmities.

In the morning session we had a Elijah Challenge Seminar and the trained believers ministered healing to the sick at the Feeding Event.

A new church is planted in this village and all the believers are from Sikh background. Neighbours who had opposed the pastor are now talking Bible classes.
