Two of our orphan girls from remote villages win Ist Prize Awards at India’s Republic Day Celebration

“Today is a special day for India because it is our 69th Republic Day. In commemoration there was a special event held at Lal Bahadur Sashtri Stadium in our town of Bhawanipatna with very special dignitaries of our state of Orissa including the Honorable District Magistrate, the District Collector as well as other dignitaries.

Two girls from our Elijah Challenge Orphanage each received a First Prize Award on this auspicious occasion. Our Tapani Kadraka received First Prize at the District-Level Singing Competition, while Sebika won First Prize for Debate at the District Level!

Thank God for the precious things He has done for our precious girls. Before we took them in, Tapani and Sebika were both from remote villages where there is no school or any facility for education—no hope. But by the grace of God they are performing outstandingly at the District Level.

Thank you so much for your prayers and your support for them to develop in such a way.”

Sincerely,

Subodh & Rosy
