We train disciples and workers today just as Jesus trained his disciples in the gospels.
Luke 8:1 …Jesus traveled about from one town and village to another, proclaiming the good news of the kingdom of God. The Twelve were with him…
Then we send them out to proclaim the kingdom of God and to heal the sick just as Jesus did with the Twelve and the Seventy-Two.
Luke 9:1 When Jesus had called the Twelve together, he gave them power and authority to drive out all demons and to cure diseases, 2 and he sent them out to proclaim the kingdom of God and to heal the sick.
Luke 10:9 Heal the sick who are there and tell them, ‘The kingdom of God has come near to you.’
We support and sent these trained disciples and workers to the vast swaths of totally unreached and gospel-resistant areas in the world outside the cities where the majority of the population of the Third World still lives—and where very few workers dare to go. These trained disciples will in turn train other workers just as they were trained by us. These new workers will be sent out to other unreached regions. They will in turn train still other workers whom we will send to the Lord’s harvest fields. This pattern will be repeated leading to an exponential increase in workers over time until all nations have heard the gospel and Christ returns. In this way we will fulfill Luke 10:2.
“He told them, “The harvest is plentiful, but the workers are few. Ask the Lord of the harvest, therefore, to send out workers into his harvest field.”
Our goal is to train, support, and send out one million workers to gospel-resistant regions of the world where the name of Jesus has never been heard—not even once. We do this to fulfill Matthew 24:14.
“And this gospel of the kingdom will be preached in the whole world as a testimony to all nations, and then the end will come.”
