Batu Ampar, 1980: A Li is the little girl on the left doing her assignment on the front bench. She was learning to read and write in a class Lucille taught in our home for the village children, some of whom were illiterate or nearly so.
A Li and her husband Yonas today pastor the Padangtikar congregation which had been planted by Batu Ampar disciples around 1985.
