“We have just returned from Raipur, the capital of the state of Chhattisgarh after visiting our mission fields and teaching our new believers. Praise the Lord for the great work being accomplished in the region of Raipur. Each of our house churches was packed with new believers from the “H” idolatrous background. I was excited to see the houses filled with newcomers. They are in need of spiritual nourishment from us.
I encouraged our Elijah Challenge workers to continue reaching out to the lost with power and authority during these Last Days.
Let share with you a couple of powerful testimonies…
A high caste Hindu man named Padruman Das was a well-known mason in his area. Four years earlier he had had a stroke and was completely paralyzed.
He was hospitalized for months, and after much treatment he was sent back home. But Padruman was unable to walk much less stand. For treatment he had spent around five lakhs rupee (or over US$7,000). Then he lost one of his young daughters. His young son became mentally disturbed. All these trials took Padruman took the brink of insanity. His whole family suffered unimaginably.
Two weeks ago he heard about our Elijah Challenge workers, and asked them to minister to him. Our brothers went to his house and ministered to him and to his son in the name of Jesus Christ. Our gracious Lord touched and healed both of them. Padruman was able to stand up and walk. Today I was with them and ministered to both of them. I encouraged them not to be afraid since “Jesus has healed you and he will restore your strength completely.” I told him to get and walk, and he did. He accepted Christ and now reads the Bible regularly.
A woman had an extreme burning sensation in her leg such that she could even not set her foot down on the floor. Her family thought it could be the work of a demon, so they looked for a sorcerer who gave them some advice along with some instructions.. But after two months of taking the medication he gave her, she was not well. Near her home was the meeting place for one of our house churches. She made contact with them through one of our believers, and asked our workers to come see her. Praise the Lord she was instantly healed after our workers ministered to her in the very powerful name of Jesus Christ. She is now coming to the fellowship.
