“Thank you so much for your teaching which is enabling our workers to reach unreached places with the Lord’s supernatural authority and power. It is so great to hear powerful reports from His workers who are labouring in His harvest fields.  Praise the Lord!

Some selected reports

Sonju, living in the village of Domkumar, had been bitten by snake at 2 am late at night. Not only his family was reluctant to take him to the hospital in the middle of the night, it was also very far. So instead they called our Elijah Challenge workers. Early the next morning our workers arrived to minister to him in Jesus’ name. Sonju was astonished at the miracle he experienced from the Lord at that moment, acknowledging that he would have died if not for the ministry of our workers. Instead he is alive! Not only did Sonju accept Christ, he gave up his bad habits of smoking, drinking, and other unhealthy habits.

In the village of Maledihi Bastipada, a man named Lueswar Behera was unable to see properly from his eyes. Our Elijah Challenge workers went to his home and ministered to him in Jesus’ name. His eyesight in both eyes was restored, and after that our workers preached the gospel to them. Lueswar and his wife testified that they had been to many places for medical treatment, but without any real result. They thanked God that for the miraculous healing. Both believed and accepted Christ.

Extraordinary reports from our harvest workers in India

The Elijah Challenge equips harvest workers to reach resistant people groups effectively and fruitfully by training them to heal the sick miraculously as Jesus did (John 14:11-12)—as irrefutable and compelling evidence that Jesus is the Messiah and the only way to the One True God who created the heavens and the earth.

In the village of Beheramal lived a five-year-old boy who would not leave home because of a strange fear that would grip him. At times he would scream that people were coming to beat him. He either had a mental disorder or had been attacked by a demon. His family was mystified. They took him to a doctor who prescribed some sleeping pills. But his behaviour did not change. Finally they came to hear about our Elijah Challenge workers, and so called them to their home asking them to do something for their child. Our workers then ministered to the child. After a day they returned and were informed that the child’s condition had changed—he wanted to go out to play with the other children. Praise God that he has become normal! The family accepted Christ.

In a family living in a tribal village known as Naksiapally there were three sisters possessed by demons. They caused problems not only for their family, but for the entire village. The villagers helped them to summon a sorcerer. But the sorcerer proved unable to control the three sisters; the demons would not listen to him or leave. The family also performed all the rituals and traditions advised by the sorcerer, but still demon would not listen or leave.  It happened that our workers led a house church around 10 km away in another village—where the family had some relatives. So the villagers urged them to call our Elijah Challenge workers, who then went and held a deliverance meeting. Within a moment after our workers rebuked the demons in the name of Jesus Christ, the three sisters were miraculously set free. Around forty villagers believed and accepted Christ.

A certain man had been suffering from some terrible affliction whereby his hands and legs had become very weak. Despite his taking various medications over a long period of time, day by day his hands and legs were wasting away and losing flesh. He was tested for sickle cell anemia and other diseases, but the results were negative. His parents were thinking that in a few days he would be bedridden. But our workers reached that village and ministered to him in Jesus’ name. He is now out of danger, and getting better. The Lord is healing him. The family accepted Christ.

A young man living in the village of Dhatutikraa had a mental disorder for a year. He could not stay home but instead would go around not knowing what was happening to him or where he was going. He had not taken a bath for months, and people would be frightened seeing him in the village or on the street. At first his family was very concerned and wanted to help him, spending more and more money for treatment. But nothing helped. At last they somehow came across one of our Elijah Challenge workers. Our workers went and started ministering to him. Within a week he was in complete control of himself. A house fellowship started up in that home.”
