Reports: The Elijah Challenge in Brazil
We conducted The Elijah Challenge Training under the covering of Visitation of God and Renovo Baptist Church in St. Michael the Archangel (Sao Miguel Arcanjo), a town nestled in the interior of Sao Paulo state.
Heart disease healed
The Lord was gracious to enable us to teach His disciples effectively. At the end of the first session, we asked people with heart conditions to come to the front to be healed. One woman in her forties came forward with arrhythmia which robbed her of strength and left her unable to exert herself in any way, especially running. The fear and worry because of her heart left her in tears and distress. She’s weeping while awaiting ministry in the photo below.
Two sisters came forward to minister to her with power and authority as we led and instructed them. As they laid hands on her the Lord’s power to heal was manifest in her, and she wept. Immediately afterwards we told her to run. She took off down the aisle and then up the other aisle returning to us at the front. I asked her how she felt. Between sobs she said that she felt well and normal. We then asked her to pick up the heavier of the two sisters who had ministered healing to her. She wrapped her arms around the sister and held her up for several seconds. She said that she felt fine while shedding tears of much gratitude to the Lord who had healed her. The disciples exploded with excitement and praise unto the Lord.

Then we called for others with heart conditions to come forward. One man and five women stepped forward, and of these six people two had actual symptoms. Disciples came forward to minister to them. The two who had been experiencing actual symptoms both testified in tears that they could no longer feel the symptoms. One ran around the sanctuary effortlessly while the other, an older woman, testified that the pain had completely disappeared. Two of the other ladies who had little or no symptoms nevertheless testified of experiencing the Lord’s healing power in their bodies. One felt burning heat at work in her heart to slow her racing heartbeat back down to normal. The other felt as if there was a hand performing an operation on her heart to put it together.

The Lord had graciously and gloriously confirmed the Scriptures before His people. After lunch they went door to door in the community healing the sick as they were just taught to do, and proclaiming the kingdom of God in people’s homes.

Before a standing-room-only crowd at Renovo Baptist Church we preached Jesus Christ as the only way to the Father. The Lord graciously confirmed the message by healing several infirm people through the trained disciples. In addition to miraculous healings, one young man tearfully testified that he had been delivered from a spirit which had caused him to hate everyone with whom he came into contact. Another young man could feel the Lord’s power at work in him delivering him from drug addiction and its cravings. The gentleman in the photo below (on the left) was dramatically delivered from powerful demons which during the ministry caused him to laugh, scream, and create a scene. He wept as he testified.
When Senior Pastor Rogerio challenged people to repent of their sins and come back to the Lord, precious souls streamed forward to fill the front of the sanctuary. See the two photos below.

At the final meeting there was no room left in the sanctuary. People were even sitting on the stage. We preached “by His wounds we are healed” (Isaiah 53:5), and the trained disciples came forward to heal the sick accordingly. Many testified that they actually felt God’s manifest healing power (Mark 5:29-30) in their bodies as the disciples laid hands on them. In addition to the many testimonies of miraculous healings, three people—two women and a man—testified that when they came to the meeting they were suicidal due to depression. But the Lord set them free from their prison and they left with His joy and peace.
It was a most glorious meeting where the Lord graciously fulfilled His word.
Isaiah 53.4 Surely he took up our infirmities and carried our sorrows, yet we considered him stricken by God, smitten by him, and afflicted. 5 But he was pierced for our transgressions, he was crushed for our iniquities; the punishment that brought us peace was upon him, and by his wounds we are healed.
