“Our new sister in Raipur (in the Indian state of Chhattisgarh) was pregnant with child during her baptism. Her two earlier pregnancies had ended in tragedy with the infants unable to survive delivery. This time, haunted by the painful memories of her two earlier pregnancies, she was very afraid. We encouraged her, assuring her that since the Lord is with her everything will go well.
But for two to three days prior before her due date she was experiencing pain. She was taken to one hospital after another where she was told that major surgery—costing an amount they could not possibly afford—was necessary. So the couple contacted our local Elijah Challenge pastor who then contacted us. We then called and ministered to her over the phone, comforting her in the Lord.
Praise the Lord she then gave birth to a baby boy following a normal delivery. The hospital people were amazed.”
