“I was teaching the Sunday congregation at International Service Bali (ISB) in Indonesia from James 5:14-18 regarding ministering healing to sick believers. A crucial condition for healing for believers is to “confess your sins to each other.” So before ministering to those who needed healing at the service, I gave the congregation a few minutes to do exactly that. Here and there in the crowd people got up from their seats and approached someone else asking for forgiveness for something they had said or done.

Among them were two sisters who were visiting Bali from Canada. They stood up, faced one another and forgave one another. One of the ladies in particular had known the Lord Jesus, but had fallen away and not where she should have been with Him. She had been suffering from painful plantar fasciitis and rheumatoid arthritis in her feet.

Then I asked those who needed physical healing to come forward to the front to be healed. Among the several who came forward was that woman. I then instructed the newly-trained believers to come to the front and to minister healing to them using the Lord’s supernatural power and authority as we had just taught them over the weekend. Among those who came forward was Kimberly, an American expat living in Bali. Kimberly was the one who had organized the Training Event for us on behalf of Pastor Steve who oversees ISB.

Kimberly approached the woman suffering from the plantar fasciitis and rheumatoid arthritis in her feet. As she had been taught, Kimberly laid hands on her feet and give authoritative commands for her feet to be healed in Jesus’ name. Kimberly later wrote us: “I stepped into the power & authority that was taught.  It was beyond invigorating and exciting because I experienced first hand the fruit of the teaching, but even more so the joy of the conversation with her that followed!!” The woman was miraculously delivered from the pain in her feet.

The “conversation with her that followed” of course centered on the woman coming back to her Lord Jesus who had just touched her so deeply. She had forgiven her sister (and her sister had forgiven her as well)—after which the Lord had forgiven her. That in turn opened the way for her feet to be miraculously healed by the “prayer of faith,” that is, the prayer of mountain-moving faith.
.

James 5:15 And the prayer of FAITH will save the sick, and the Lord will raise him up. And if he has committed sins, he will be forgiven. 16 Therefore confess your sins to one another…

Mark 11:25 And when you stand praying, if you hold anything against anyone, forgive him, so that your Father in heaven may forgive you your sins.

In addition to the woman visiting from Canada, other believers who had come forward for healing also testified that that they had been miraculously healed during the time of ministry at the service.”
